Rancho Water sends leak alerts when a meter shows water running for 24 hours straight. Many customers did not know what to do next. The district cannot find or fix leaks for them. The video had to give clear, practical steps that a homeowner could follow on their own.

We structured the video as a step-by-step guide. It starts with what the alert means and how the meter readings work. Then it walks through the My Water Tracker account, the meter’s leak indicator and the main shut-off valve. Simple tests, like food coloring in a toilet tank, show viewers exactly what to do.

The script moves from the alert to the fix. Here is the path it takes, frame by frame.

We storyboarded the script panel by panel before any color went down. Each panel paired a line of narration with a clear action. Pick a panel to compare the sketch with the finished frame.
